Paulson Electric was the trusted electrical partner chosen for the Pediatric Specialty Clinic (PSC) inside the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
The UIHC Pediatric Specialty Clinic project included the construction of exam rooms, provider and staff work spaces, and patient check-in and waiting areas. We drew on our extensive expertise in constructing specialized healthcare facilities for this project.
The healthcare facility spans over 55,000 square feet of patient-centric space, and spans a variety of medical specialties, including GI, surgery, pulmonary, dermatology, cardiology, ECHO, and rheumatology. The PSC includes 54 exam rooms, provider and staff huddle and work areas, and patient check-in and waiting spaces. It also includes many digital patient-centric features, including controllable color lighting in the exam rooms and the latest in technology infrastructure.
